Job overview
We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic Senior Nurse (Band 8C) to join our Medicine and Community Services leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking nursing leader to play a key strategic role in shaping and delivering high-quality patient care across our medical services.
You will provide senior clinical and operational leadership across specialty medicine pathways, with oversight of inpatient medical services and elderly care wards. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clinical leaders, and operational managers, you will drive service improvement, support workforce development, and ensure the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care.
This role is ideally suited to a motivated senior nurse leader who is passionate about improving patient outcomes, strengthening clinical pathways, and leading teams through innovation and transformation

Main duties of the job
- The Senior Clinical Lead has responsibility for managing all aspects of the quality of the clinical service within a defined but varied group of services within a division, including the implementation of robust systems and processes to support the Trust’s development as a clinically led organisation
- The Senior Clinical Lead is accountable for the delivery of nursing clinical services, within the defined services and is responsible for the nursing budget
