Job overview
The Enhanced Community Residential Service provides high – quality support for individuals with autism, learning disability and physical disability in supportive living. We work closely with individuals and their families in the planning and development of support tailored for each individual.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist nursing care, advice, guidance and leadership.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care.
Provide specialist advice and excellent clinical practice.
Work autonomously and manage own workload as a lead specialist in their area
Provide specialist education and training to Staff
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with clinical colleagues
Demonstrate the Health Board’s values and ensure that others demonstrate the same values.
All ECRS will have Job Plans. In general, an average week will have 8.5 sessions for clinical activity and 1.5 sessions for SPA but this will be determined on an individual basis and reviewed annually (NIPEC 2012).
· Clinical Activity – eg. Clinics; ward-based work; telephone consultations etc
· Supporting Professional Activity Supporting Professional Activity (SPA) – eg. Audit; CPD; teaching; research; admin
