Ward 26 is a 18/19 bedded, dedicated neuro rehabilitation unit, specialising in the care and multidisciplinary rehabilitation of patients following life changing trauma or surgery. The successful candidate will join a hardworking and forward thinking multi-disciplinary team, with a focus on safe, compassionate and effective care, which is closely linked with patient experience and outcomes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse who can demonstrate the ability to lead staff and operationally manage the ward on a daily basis whilst being a strong team player with good communication and organisational skills. Clinical knowledge and some experience, of this speciality would be advantageous as you will be expected to support the team, however support would also be provided.
The post holder will be expected to have full responsibility and co-ordinate the ward on a daily basis, to provide professional clinical leadership, advice and guidance to the team. You will need to have sound problem solving skills and be able to enhance patient experience and ensure high quality care is delivered.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
