We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We are seeking 2 Community Mental Health Nurses to cover maternity leave for 12 months to join the existing GP Aligned Mental Health Service within Adult Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join the team working within the primary care network within the Derwent and Chester le Street area.
You will ideally be a non medical prescriber.
You will work within GP practices providing assessment and short term intervention to patients referred by their GPs.
Supervision, training and personal development are a key aspect of the post.
If you do not require full time hours, flexible hours can be considered.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
