An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered nurses to join our Discharge Lounge team. The successful applicants will be reliable, highly motivated and enthusiastic in supporting patients on the day of Discharge as well as having the ability to enjoy the daily challenges this environment provides whilst remaining focused on the delivery of the Trusts core objectives.
The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, have an ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a team and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
The primary function of the Discharge Lounge is to provide timely availability of beds on inpatient wards, improving patient flow across the Trust.
The Discharge lounge service operates 7 days per week 0800-2000 inclusive of bank holidays (except Christmas Day).
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
