Job overview

A great opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic and motivated Emergency Department team as a band 5 Registered Nurse. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are due to move into a new state of the art, purpose-built Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre later this year.

Our ideal applicants will have experience in acute or emergency care, and be looking for their next challenge in our fast-paced, friendly and supportive environment. You can expect to work in a progressive and motivated team who will actively encourage you to develop your knowledge and skills in emergency nursing.

We have full time and part time opportunities available with a shift rotation of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

Be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of high standard individualised evidence based patient care and supervising others in delivery of care.

Demonstrating a professional manner and good communication skills in all aspects of your work.
