A vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Practitioner to work with the District Nurses in the Ardwick and Longsight Integrated Team. Working from The Vallance Medical Centre, you will visit patients in their own homes, or in clinic, to undertake nursing care.
You will be a part of the multi-disciplinary community team working for Manchester Foundation Trust which is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city region of Manchester.
With a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care you will be able to use your own initiative, work under pressure, keep to deadlines and have excellent clinical, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Working flexibly and as part of a team, travelling between sites means that you will need access to a vehicle for work purposes.
In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on an annual basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
