Are you a Registered Adult Nurse with a passion for delivering high quality care?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic nurse to work on the Elderly Medical Assessment Unit (AMB).

AMB is a fast paced unit which provides first class care for patients with various medical conditions at York  Hospital, within York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will join a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team providing high quality expert services.

We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to  work well within a team. Strong drive and interest in caring for the older adult is an integral aspect of this role, with patient safety and patient experience underpinning all aspects of care.

  • Relocation payment - You may be eligible for a payment of £750 if you are relocating to join our Trust.
  • Refer a Friend - You will receive a £250 payment if you refer a nurse to us who subsequently takes up employment in our Trust (paid after the new starter completes 4-months in post).
  • Nurses who have completed their qualification and are awaiting NMC registration will be paid at AfC Band 5 (previously Band 4)
