Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Midwife to work within our Antenatal screening team on a permanent contract. As a member of the Antenatal Screening team, you will provide holistic midwifery care to women mainly in the antenatal period
As a member of the Antenatal and Screening team, you will undertake clinical duties in these areas including weekend and evening clinics.
You will also support the Antenatal Screening Coordinator in delivering the national screening programmes.
If you have knowledge of the antenatal screening programmes, and can support and counsel couples with increased risks of conditions then we want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will fulfil the role of midwife as defined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council adhering to the Midwives Rules and Code of Practice. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of mothers and their babies.

- E learning for health module for downs, edwards syndrome
- Further education or knowledge of antenatal screening
