Healthcare Support Worker - Maple and Rowan Ward  

Meadowfield Hospital

Meadowfield is an award winning, purpose built acute mental health unit in Worthing, West Sussex offering person-centred and holistic care to the people of Adur, Arun and Worthing. Meadowfield has 34 mixed gender beds for people of working age (Maple and Rowan Ward) and 18 beds on Larch Ward which is for people over the age of 65 all of which operate with open doors.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for confident people with a genuine interest in Mental Health who are motivated, dynamic and forward thinking to work at Meadowfield as Healthcare Assistants. Applicants need to be committed to maintaining and improving service user centred care to the highest standards. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an ability to demonstrate good communication skills and team working abilities. In return you will benefit from working in a therapeutic environment conducive to the treatment and recovery of people with acute functional mental health problems. All your skills and life experience will be fully utilised and developed through clinical supervision and training opportunities.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We currently work a Long Day shift pattern on the wards, this includes weekends and night shifts.

We are no longer able to offer a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role so please don't apply if this is required.
