Job overview
A exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic team in the dermatology team on a permanent basis.
The post is for 34.5 hours per week and you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of both outpatient clinics, theatres, dressings. Previous experience in Dermatology or with advance wound care would be desirable.
The Department is open Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) occasional weekend working may be available.
Main duties of the job
The Dermatology Team
Contributes to the delivery of outstanding patient care by:
· Providing clinical expertise to patients who attend the Dermatology Department.
· Maintaining a clean safe environment for our patients to receive care in.
· Ensuring patients are involved in decisions around their care.
- Using patient/carers feedback to implement improvements that positively impact their care

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse
- NMC professional registration
- Diploma/ Degree in Nursing or working towards
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship Qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience and understanding of nursing processes i.e. assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation.
Desirable criteria
- Clinical experience within Dermatology Outpatients.
- Experience of working within acute setting.
Skills and Knowledge
