Job overview
We are looking for a dynamic Sister / Charge nurse to join the team on Durrant Ward.
Durrant Ward is a 31 bedded unit specialising in geriatric medicine.
This post is for 28.5 hours per week .
The post holder is designated to manage the ward, ensuring provision of safe, high quality and individualised care to patients and the line management and development of the ward staff.
The post holder will participate in the achievement of the ward’s objectives, through innovative and progressive approaches to patient care, be responsible for the adherence to Nursing Care Audit and Care Accreditation processes. Be responsible for the development of clinical audit and research based activities and for the development of the ward as a learning environment.
