An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Junior Sister to join our Gastro team on Quex Ward.

For this post we require your enthusiasm, motivation and passion to help deliver a patient focused service, to contribute to the visions and values of our specialty and the Trust.

We are looking for people who have some previous experience of working in the specialty, but we also encourage applications from those from other health care environments and will support and develop you to reach your full potential as a highly skilled and experienced nurse.

We aim to provide safe and effective care that exceeds the expectations of our patients and the public and we are looking for excellent nurses who embrace our Trust values and care so that:

  • People feel cared for as individuals
  • People feel safe, reassured and involved
  • People feel that we are making a difference
  • People feel teamwork; trust and respect sit at the heart of everything we do.
