Senior Nurses for Patient Flow
An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, dynamic individuals to join our North Manchester General Hospital Site Management Team, as Senior Nurses for Patient Flow.
The post holders will be key members of the site management team, to lead and co-ordinate capacity which supports effective clinical flow and maintains patient safety. The need to balance emergency and elective demands effectively will be critical components of the role and as senior nurses you will work alongside managers and clinical partners to keep our patients safe.
This is an exciting time to join the site management team whilst we are currently embedding new working practices to prepare for a changing acute health care environment. The successful applicant will be a role model who inspires confidence, demonstrates excellent communication, organisation, decision-making and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to collate complex information from multi-factorial sources and have confidence to escalate issues outside of the role responsibilities.
We are looking for candidates with NHS acute experience and leadership skills. Your attention to detail is essential with the ability to work within an unpredictable and pressured environment at pace, where operational priorities may change at short notice to meet timeframes for access to patient-focused pathways and clinical need.
A flexible and committed work ethos is required, with an open mind to change, whilst working within 24/7 service provision. You will be a self-motivated individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who has supervisory experience within a team.
If you are looking for a new challenge or change in direction; and have the attributes required for this post, as outlined in the person specification, we would like to hear from you.
In line with the Trust's Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, marital status, social background or trade union membership. Appointments will be based on merit alone.
