Cystic Fibrosis Specialist Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced children’s nurse with a desire to use their considerable knowledge to develop specialist skills in the management of Cystic Fibrosis. The Paediatric team are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Band 7 to be part of the Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis Service.

This exciting opportunity will allow a self-motivated individual to offer dynamic leadership to the CF service. You will work across the acute and community services enabling children and families to manage their condition. You will be expected to provide specialist CF knowledge and care to children and their families. Along with the CF Multi-disciplinary Team you will ensure that the CF service for children meets NICE standards.

The successful candidate will be motivated, forward thinking, enthusiastic and committed to becoming involved in all aspects of the patient pathway, working in close collaboration with ward and community staff and other clinicians. They will be self-reliant and confident with an ability to work flexibly and adapt to change.

Clean full driving licence will be required for home visits.
