Band 6 job advert Surgical pre-assessment 31.5 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered nurse/ODP to join the pre-operative assessment department at CHFT. This is a nurse led service with clinics at Huddersfield Royal infirmary, Calderdale Royal Hospital and an outreach clinic at Todmorden Health Centre. The service runs Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. The successful candidate will be required to work across sites .

You will be required to have substantial experience in surgery and to provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff. Should you not have the pre-operative assessment qualifications as specified in the job description the successful candidate will train as a band 5 for 12 months to convert to band 6 on successful completion of training and competence package.
